An affordable organic, local-grown grocery store, a hair salon that isn’t stuck in the 80s, and a crafts store filled with all the supplies you ever need for that project you keep meaning to finish. It will be a glorious town that we will rule wisely
instead, the hair salon is stuck in the 30s and does adorable...

Yes, yes it is. Might we add a day care for those who have children to be cared for and wish to take part in this wonderland? Perhaps a masseuse spa, and clothing exchange? My god, it is going to be beautiful.
SOON WE WILL HAVE OUR OWN TOWN

I know for a fact that my roomie would be lining up to run that. Should we also have a pet clinic next to it? It might as well be a one stop shopping experience. As it is, I can see them meandering through each one, for an entire afternoon.
this is going to be extremely badass

tea room? there are a lot of ‘tea cafés’ around here and that’s what they’re called. i will be one of your annoying coffee-bringing unprofitable customers. my presence will add to the charm.
look if you and tibby both want it, I think we might have to offer it

Now to be handed buckets of cash to start up our tiny empire.
Oh, and the other thing that needs to be on this street is a shop that we use as an adoption centre for the cats and kittens from the FFA Commune/Cult Compound Feline Sanctuary.

We can have another shop that sells antiques and odd but pretty knickknacks, a sweets shop, and a tiny theater that runs all the movies we like? IT WILL BE THE BEST STREET EVER.
Sounds excellent to me!

That would be awesome. Can it be next to my second hand bookstore that I will run once I’m retired from medicine? I can give 10% discounts to people who present their receipt from your store, and vice versa.
Good plan! Perhaps we should just take over a whole street.

one day chrryblssmninja and I are going to have a tea café (I don’t know what else to call it, although we’re not planning to serve coffee) called Special Tea. And we will serve all kinds of wonderful tea, black and green and white, and herbal ‘teas’ that are really tisanes or infusions, and lovely cakes and savouries, and now, it appears, cereal sandwiches. No two sets of...

Fruity Pebbles on buttered bread?
chrryblssmninja:

I should totally try that.
that scene reminded me of the “cereal bistro” that used to be in Berkeley
I’d try out different cereal sandwiches, and I one combination I really liked was cocoa puffs with Nutella on white bread
the owners were really nice but the students they hired were so inattentive
the place closed within a year
shall we offer cereal...

CAT UPDATE
Iris, my mother’s grey cat, who normally can do no wrong, ripped a hole in the canvas covering the underside of the living room couch and climbed up in there. Now she’s confined to quarters and Pearl is in the Fortress of Solitude (garage) and only Titty is allowed to rove free because SHE IS THE BEST-BEHAVED CAT.
