• Garak/Bashir Deep Space Husbands so very nearly canon ridiculousness
• O’Brien & Bashir BFFs
• Data & Bashir Second Best Friends (goshdarnit they should have had more chances to interact, their playdates would be adorable)

also, hmm, let’s see, Twin Peaks, Glee (love-hate relationship), The Vision of Escaflowne, Sailor Moon, Fringe, The X-Files, Lost, Sons of Anarchy, The Almighty Johnsons, Life on Mars, Lord of the Rings, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Narnia, various Disney animated movies, lotsa stuff.

I don’t care anything about Supernatural but I sure seem to have a lot of friends who do, and sometimes that gets them into reading Good Omens so that’s all good.

My favourite writers are Terry Pratchett, Diana Wynne Jones, Ruth Rendell, Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, Charles Dickens and P.G. Wodehouse.

I’m a feminist too, generally liberal/socialist, pro-choice, anti-racism, GLBTetc-friendly. I sometimes find sexuality/gender things that are new to me a bit confusing (e.g. I still can’t break my brain of the tendency to insist that ‘pansexual’ means you’d like to nail Mr Tumnus, partly because I’d like to nail Mr Tumnus so that just seems sensible to me) but my occasional cluelessness is underpinned by general goodwill and the desire for everyone to be treated fairly and kindly, so I hope you’ll bear with me.
